Jacques Marie Mage

Owned by the marvellous Jerome Marie Mage, JMM is one of the hottest collections in the world. Based in Los Angeles and manufactured in Japan, each piece is numbered and produced in extremely limited quantities.

Every design created is inspired by influential figures, whether it be Bob Dylan for the Dealan, Grace Kelly for Grace, or Pop Zephyrinus for the Zepphirin.

With thick acetate and precious metal hardware, Jacques Marie Mage is for the true collectors and connoisseurs of eyewear.

Ahlem

A Parisian who found home in Los Angeles, Ahlem Manai-Platt is a true artist of eyewear design. With pieces being inspired by Ahlem’s diverse design and cultural background, each style feels distinctively modern while also being refined.

Some of the joy in Ahlem comes from the custom bevelling and engraving found on every frame. When viewing the acetate work from Ahlem, you will notice intricately detailed wirecorse encased in custom coloured acetate. Meanwhile metal frames feature simillar engraving details, while also having a delicate acetate insert placed in the temple tips. Whether designing new metal or acetate pieces, Ahlem cuts no corners in quality.

Rigards

An alchemist of eyewear, Rigards create one-of-a-kind pieces from copper, buffalo horn, specialist composites, and more. Working from their Hong Kong studio, every piece is created by hand over a series of days.

Rigards work often goes through their top secret “time machine” in order to allow a unique patina to develop significantly faster than it would in real world conditions. In addition to this, every buffalo horn piece is hand chosen for it’s colour and grain. As one of the few remaining artisans working with buffalo horn and precious metals, the level of detail and quality in Rigards work can not be ignored.

Often inspired by natural shapes, each Rigards piece has a story and no two ever look the same.

Niche Bazaar Studio

Niche’s own collection is designed by Brenda Connelly; the owner and head of Niche Optical Tailor and Niche Bazaar Studio.

Niche Bazaar Studio reimagines some of Niche”s favourite sillohuettes from different eras in order to create something new. Every design is carefully created, considered, and refined by Brenda herself.

The entire collection is designed in Glasgow, and manufactured using the finest acetate from Mazzucchelli in Italy. Because of the small batch manufacturing used, each piece is limited edition.

Res Rei

“Non fuit in solo Roma peracta die” is the motto of Res Rei. Rome was not built in a day. Res Rei focuses on creating the perfectly balanced frame, while also gradually evolving their aesthetics. Every Res Rei piece is created almost entirely by hand. Within the brand, they have unique concepts for each collection. With some being inspired by pearls within nature, and others being inspired by cocktails and the colours found with these, Res Rei make truly delightful designs.

Using custom acetates and carefully considering both the weight and shape of every frame, Res Rei are always comfortable, stylish, and timeless.

Cutler and Gross

Founded in 1969, British luxury eyewear brand Cutler and Gross combines the finest Italian craftsmanship with irrefutably cool style. Since its establishment in fashion’s halcyon days, the brand’s signature creativity has been applied to sunglasses and optical frames with their trademark numbered designs and absence of an ostentatious logo.

For decades, Graham Cutler and Tony Gross’s frames relied, in part, upon their reputation being dripped and whispered within style and fashion circles like verbal quicksilver. Considered bastions of iconic eyewear, Cutler and Gross designs continue to grace many of the most recognisable faces in the worlds of art, design, music and film.
